HYPER.ZONE

The Belgian multidisciplinary artist Vinco Zierowan, also known as Pixel, Royal Cheese, Phantom 84, Vinco.zone, and Satori, lives and works in Brussels. His artistic universe extends across cinema, crypto art, hip hop music, magical activism, and visual arts.

During a July-August 2022 residency invited by Sophie Vanhowegen, Vinco engaged in an interdisciplinary exploration of AI. This process led to the creation of the HYPER.ZONE, an immersive hyper-disciplinary installation. Within it, he presented new series of digital works and sculptures, alongside the interactive HYPER.TUNNEL. To complete the experience, Vinco curated live events where contributing artists performed and interacted with the space.
The HYPER.TUNNEL is an interactive and audiovisual sculpture with integrated laser light and smoke-effects. The structure is composed out of rubber tires attached to iron bars, the tunnel is made from circular plexi glass, 50 pocket-lasers, one professional laser-machine, a smoke-engine and a video-projector. When you place your head inside the tunnel you will experience a personal and immersive audiovisual and musical perception. Inside the tunnel, a projection of shortfilms made by vinco.zone.
